At the foot of the Maloti Mountains you’ll find the cute little town, Clarens. Why not take a scenic drive through the Golden Gate National Park on your way there. Clarence is very well known as an artist town and famous for its local craftsmen, trout fishing and wonderful climate. Take a day trip and explore the little shops, galleries, restaurants or take along a picnic basket and sit under a big tree in the stunning town square.
There are restaurants galore to explore in Clarents including the Clarens Craft Breweries which is a local favorite. Why not go and grab a pub lunch.
Don’t forget to stop by the fun book shop, Bibliophile. This is a wonderful little shop for any music, art or book lover sporting a variety of books, CD’s, records and they even have an artists corner.
